On site Insight

February 17th, 2011 · No Comments

Infusion has executed a large scale Behaviour, Attitude, Knowledge study for ESKOM, on site at the Medupi Power Station near Lephalale.  The project focussed on unpacking safety issues and was conducted in November and December 2010 with the final presentations delivered in January 2011.  The Infusion team interviewed some 1675 people on site, at all levels, using the insights gathered to reflect a wide angle view of life at Medupi.  From this vantage point, the factors that directly drive safety on site could be identified and analysed to support the design of a holistic safety strategy. This study was supported by a community survey to ensure that the Medupi team take ‘inside the fence’ factors as well as ‘outside the fence’ factors into account when designing strategy.
